2014 Goals

April 12, 2014 Goals

We all set goals for ourselves to achieve. Some are short term, some long term. At the end of the day we all want to feel like we have achieved something for the year and my goals tend to support my personal vision/dream(s).

  • Read one book a month
  • Start my own company (possibly IT/Website related)
  • Purchase a New Home
  • Heal my back and get back to exercising

I try to keep my goals for the year around 4-5 as each goal takes up a few months, if not longer. Also if a goal is not achieved, it gets rolled over into the next year. For example, last year we wanted to purchase a new home but that did not happen. So this goal was rolled over into 2014 and is nearly achieved. Should I achieve all my goals, this rarely happens, I tend to reassess and add more goals if need be.

Without goals I feel lost. They also help provide guidance throughout the year and keep me focused. If you set loose mental goals, I sure to do this, do not be shocked if you never get to them. Write them down, make them happen! Good luck!
