Year in Review…2010
Many of us have new year resolutions, many of us make them with good intentions on accomplishing these resolutions/goals. The sad part is most of us, including myself start to make our goals happen, but then we get busy with life and we seem to fall short of our goals. So this past year I started to realize my past failures had been more or less caused by my lack of planning. And a year ago now, I shook my head and said, what am I waiting for? The stars to align? With my sons birth many things inside have sparked, and I decided it was time to be an example for him as he grows older.
In the beginning of the year I set forth several goals to improve my health.
- Lose weight
- Finish a Triathlon
- Complete my first Century ride
So how did this year go? If you have read any of my previous posts it went better than expected! I have lost a total of 43lbs since and have maintained my current weight with no real effort. I finished two triathlons and topped the year off with my first century ride. None of these goals could have been completed without the support of my wife Kelly. She told me I was crazy, and I looked at her and said…you married me knowing this! But seriously, her support this year has just been awesome, and with me looking to do more next year I am certain it will be needed. 😉
