IT Band Woes…Booo!
Well…I have been having on/off knee pain since my first triathlon. It seems to be happening only when I run and is not a pleasant feeling. I went to a free running clinic going on in Ann Arbor and Probility was there, same folks who helped me out a few years ago with my ulnar nerve issues. They checked things out and determined…that my IT bands were wayyy too tight. This is more than likely due to all the biking I do, and lack of stretching. Time to add stretching into my daily routine and take some time off from running. Let’s hope we are able to run in the next month or so. I am glad to have found the issue and that the fix is something simple! 🙂
